Physicists are blessed to have access, in my mind's eye, to what could be dubbed, "realness." After all, that's what most folks say they want in their lives, "something real." And as Johnny reminded me, "but isn't it the same for you while creating?" He's right, I'm fortunate that while applying patterns, or placing shapes/colors everything fades away, and there's also, "a realness," to being present and not having to expend energy thinking about issues, events, and circumstances.
People often attach catharsis with poems, songs, paintings, and yet as Johnny relayed, "having contentment in understanding how to read the poetry that is his field." As a guide, he was not only well versed, Johnny could read aloud that very poetry, and that is a gift as well, the ability to channel the flow and harmony therein.
